RETREAT EXTRAS

If you would like to make the most of your stay with us in the Amazon, we have prepared a selection of optional activities. If you are interested in any of them, please let us know via WhatsApp.

Additional Ayahuasca ceremony

This ceremony is an option for those who would like to continue working with Ayahuasca.

The Ayahuasca brew served during the ceremony is the same as during the regular retreat ceremonies.

The price of the ceremony depends on the number of participants:

4 people or more: 140 USD per person
3 people: 190 USD per person
2 people: 250 USD per person
1 person: 390 USD

Healing with a shaman, during which only the shaman drinks Ayahuasca

The shaman offers individual healing for those who trust his work and would like him to work with them beyond the regular Ayahuasca ceremonies.

He focuses on your specific concern or intention, and his energetic work is somewhat deeper than during the ceremonies. The session may address a physical, psychological or emotional difficulty, or any area of life in which you would like to move forward.

The session begins with a brief consultation. Based on this, the shaman assesses the complexity of the issue and proposes a price for the healing. The price depends on the duration of the session and the complexity of the issue and ranges from 150 to 300 USD. The more issues you wish to address in one session, the higher the price may be.

The healing lasts 20–60 minutes.

It must be arranged in advance for one of the free evenings when no ceremony is scheduled. Only the shaman drinks Ayahuasca. This prevents the cleansing and energetic processes triggered by Ayahuasca from interfering with the healing. The full team that cares for participants during a regular ceremony will also not be present.

You can arrange a session via WhatsApp.

Masaje terapéutico con aceites y extractos de plantas amazónicas

In Kichwa culture, there is a massage tradition known in the Indigenous language as kakuna. It is not a conventional “professional” massage, but an intuitive practice based on the perception of energies. It may help relieve pain or negative energies. We can also assist with translation if you need to communicate important information, such as sensitive areas or places that should receive the most attention. It is best to arrange the massage as far in advance as possible. Book your massage via WhatsApp. You can also purchase the massage ointment or oil in our small shop for 10 USD.

Duración y precio:

30 minutes – 25 USD (back, neck and head)
60 minutes – 40 USD
90 minutes – 60 USD

Indigenous steam bath “kushnichina”

For the Kichwa people of the Amazon, this therapy is one of the fundamental ways to strengthen the body and support healing from many kinds of illness. It also connects people with the power of the Amazon rainforest and its plants. To prepare the therapy, around 20 species of plants are gathered in the forest and briefly boiled in a large pot, releasing their aromas and medicinal substances. The person sits beside the pot and is covered with blankets, which trap the steam so it can be absorbed through the pores and respiratory system. This steaming may help improve circulation and support healing on many levels. It is particularly useful for colds, flu or respiratory difficulties.

Duration: 15–30 minutes
Price: 40 USD

River adventure

Travelling by river is one of the best ways to experience the Amazon and its remote places. If you are interested in a river adventure, we work with an established English-speaking agency. You need to be in good physical and mental condition and set aside a full day for this activity. The following options are available:

– Rafting trip (minimum 2 people)
– Trip in a two-person inflatable ducky (you and a guide)
– Kayaking lesson (beginners start on flat water)

Please contact Jan Rostlinka directly and be ready to answer these questions:

– How large is your group, or are you travelling alone? (The price depends on this.)
– Which of the activities above interest you?
– Do you have any previous paddling experience? (Beginners are welcome.)

Trip to the petroglyphs and the split stone on the Anzu River

A free afternoon after a ceremony can be used to visit the petroglyphs—ancient carvings in the rocks left by the Incas—and the Anzu River, where you can swim and climb onto the legendary split stone. By the river, you can also cover your skin with healing purple clay, which leaves it feeling soft.

1 person – 90 USD per person
2 people – 50 USD per person
3 people – 35 USD per person
4 people or more – 30 USD per person
