Come on your own, with a partner, or with a group you bring together. A private ayahuasca retreat in Ecuador gives you a dedicated program with Feather Crown, arranged exclusively for you and your invited guests.
Together, we plan the length of your stay, the number of ceremonies and the rainforest, cultural and integration activities you would like to include. You will not be joining a scheduled public retreat.
Our Amazon rainforest center near Santa Clara, Pastaza, offers a quiet setting beside the Piatúa River, with private rooms and space to rest between activities.
Yes, your retreat at Feather Crown can be fully private. Any guests on independent plant dietas remain completely isolated and do not share your retreat program or ceremonies. If you prefer, you can allow other participants to join your ceremonies by prior agreement.
Customize your ayahuasca retreat program
Tell us what you have in mind. Depending on the dates, the ceremony leader’s availability and the agreed itinerary, your retreat can include:
- Ayahuasca ceremonies guided by an Indigenous elder, with individual traditional cleansing work.
- Preparation, integration conversations and English translation.
- Traditional flower and plant baths.
- Guided rainforest walks and learning about Amazonian plants.
- Kichwa cultural activities, music, painting and handicrafts.
- An ayahuasca-vine amulet workshop or learning about traditional vine preparation.
- A waterfall excursion and time beside the Piatúa River.
- Quiet time for rest, reflection and your group’s own agreed activities.
Private accommodation, meals, transport and any additional activities are specified in your proposal. The final program balances ceremonies with adequate preparation, rest and integration. Meet our ceremony leaders and support team.
Private or scheduled group retreat?
A private retreat lets you propose your dates, bring your own participants and plan a custom program with us. A scheduled retreat follows a published itinerary with a shared group and a lower price per person. Compare our 5-day retreat and 10-day retreat if you would prefer to join an existing group.
How much does a private retreat cost?
Private retreats cost significantly more than our scheduled group retreats. The ceremony leader, support team and program are arranged specifically for you, so these costs are shared only among your own participants.
We calculate your quote according to:
- Length of stay: the number of days and nights.
- Ceremonies: how many are included in the agreed program.
- Activities: the experiences, excursions and services you choose.
- Group size: the number of people participating.
There is no fixed private-retreat price. We send you an itemized proposal with the total cost, inclusions and payment terms before you commit. If you prefer the lower cost of a shared program, see our scheduled retreat dates and prices.
Private group retreats — bring six guests and stay free
Retreat organizers and group leaders are welcome to bring their own guests to Feather Crown. When you bring at least six paying guests, one accompanying retreat leader receives a free stay.
Tell us the number of guests, whether you will accompany them as their leader, and any sessions or activities you would like to offer. We agree on the program together and specify the leader’s included stay and any separately priced extras in the written proposal.
Ceremonies remain guided by our Indigenous ceremony leader. Our limit is 12 ceremony participants in total, including an accompanying group leader if they participate.
Possible dates for your private retreat
You can request dates outside our scheduled group retreats. The two days before and the two days after every scheduled group retreat are also unavailable. Independent plant dieta guests remain completely isolated. Their stays can overlap with a private retreat and do not block these dates. Your entire stay, from arrival through departure, must fit within one of the open periods below.

Already agreed on your custom retreat?
The registration form is only for participants who have already agreed the dates, price, program and number of ayahuasca ceremonies with Feather Crown.
Once these details are arranged, each participant completes their own registration and health screening. Select “Private custom retreat — already arranged”, confirm the prior agreement and enter the name of the person organizing your custom retreat.

Private ayahuasca retreat questions
When should I complete the registration form?
First send your custom retreat enquiry. We will email you a personalized price quote within 3 days. Complete the registration form only after the dates, price, program and number of ceremonies have been agreed with Feather Crown. Each participant registers individually, confirms this prior agreement and gives the name of the person organizing the retreat.
Is the retreat center private?
Yes. Your retreat at Feather Crown can be fully private. Guests on independent plant dietas remain completely isolated and do not share your program or ceremonies. In your enquiry, choose whether you want private ceremonies for your group only or would welcome other participants by prior agreement.
How is the price of a private ayahuasca retreat calculated?
Private retreats cost significantly more than scheduled group retreats. Your individual quote depends on the number of days and nights, ceremonies, activities and participants. We confirm the total cost, inclusions and payment terms in a written proposal before you commit.
Can I request a private retreat for one person?
Yes. Individuals and couples can request an exclusive retreat, as can groups of friends or guests brought by a retreat organizer. The program is priced for your group size, so a solo private retreat has a substantially higher per-person cost than joining a scheduled retreat.
Can I choose the dates and number of ceremonies?
Yes. Propose your preferred dates, length of stay and number of ceremonies. We plan an appropriate itinerary together, subject to availability, preparation, rest and integration. Scheduled group retreats and the two days on either side of them are unavailable. Independent plant dieta guests may be present in complete isolation from your retreat.
Can a retreat leader stay for free?
One accompanying retreat leader receives a free stay when bringing at least six paying guests. The written proposal confirms the program and what is included. The maximum is 12 ceremony participants, including the leader if participating.
